Divvy is expanding across the U.S.

Today, we’re expanding into seven new metros areas across the U.S! Our rent-to-own program is now available in Denver, CO, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Houston, TX, Jacksonville, FL, Miami, FL, Minneapolis, MN, and Orlando, FL.

We couldn’t be more excited to announce that Divvy’s program is now available in seven new areas across the country, offering more American’s an opportunity for homeownership. The launch marks our first step into Colorado and Minnesota and the expansion of our service areas in Texas and Florida.

“At Divvy, we have an ambitious goal of making homeownership attainable for all, and our expansion into these new markets serves as an important milestone in turning this dream into a reality,” says Adena Hefets, co-founder and CEO of Divvy Homes. “This year especially, when the family home has been a refuge and a bright spot during these challenging times, we’re so proud of the work we’re doing to make this part of the American Dream come true for so many.”

As we look to 2021, we want to expand our service areas pretty considerably—today’s launch is a big step in the right direction. A majority of these new markets are in the top 25 metropolitan statistical areas in the US, meaning Divvy now operates in 11 of the 25 largest metro areas in the country.

This launch is also an opportunity to build off our existing operations in Dallas, San Antonio, and Tampa—allowing for a smooth transition into new cities in Texas and Florida, as our teams have already established local knowledge in the area. The geographic diversification of these new markets will also help expand our customers’ employment sectors and industries.

For so many Americans, the importance of a safe, wonderful place to call home has become more important than ever. We’re so happy to be offering our alternative path to homeownership for a huge new group of Americans.
